Wealthtracker is built on a simple principle: your financial data belongs to you and only you. We have designed the app from the ground up so that we are technically incapable of accessing, reading, or selling your information.
This policy describes what data exists, where it lives, and why we will never see it.
All data you enter into Wealthtracker is encrypted on your device before it ever leaves it. Encryption and decryption happen exclusively on your device using keys derived from your credentials. We never receive, store, or have any means to access your unencrypted data.
Even if our servers were compromised, an attacker would find only encrypted blobs that are mathematically infeasible to decrypt without your key.
We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information. When you create an account, your username is hashed using a one-way cryptographic function before it is stored on our servers. This means:

Your encrypted data may be stored on our servers solely for the purpose of syncing across your own devices. The stored ciphertext is meaningless without your key, which never leaves your device.
You can delete your account and all associated server-side data at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, everything is permanently removed with no retention period.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third party — because we do not have your data to share. No advertising networks, analytics providers, or data brokers are involved in the operation of this app.
Wealthtracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Given our zero-collection architecture, no special risk exists, but we still encourage parents to supervise app usage.
If we ever update this privacy policy, the revised version will be published at this URL with an updated date at the top. Because we collect no contact information, we cannot notify you directly — please check back periodically.
